We highly recommend a visit to the city centre, which is full of historic buildings and shops of every kind, not to mention the piazza del Duomo (Cathedral Square) with the Romanesque cathedral that is the seat of the Council and the fountain of Neptune, the Diocesan Art Museum and Buonconsiglio Castle.

The MUSE Trentino Science Museum designed by Renzo Piano, featuring an exhibition that uses the metaphor of the mountain to tell the story of life on earth, is also well worth a visit.
